Devotional - A Change Agent
‘’It is God who works in you, both to will and to do for His good pleasure.’’
Philippians 2:13
MESSAGE:
The Holy Spirit is our change agent!
He changed our universe from a dark formless void.
He changed the known world when he came upon people in remarkable and amazing ways in the Old Testament.
He changed the first disciples and radically transformed them from uneducated men and women to powerhouses for His gospel.
He lives and moves in us if we have surrendered our lives to Him.
What a remarkable thought!
The only limitation on Him is us!
What we believe about who He is, how He is, and what He still wants to do today.
Not Him.
He wills for you to do for His good pleasure – giving you the desire, the strength, the creativity, and the power to do what pleases him.
To fulfil his good purpose…
as a parent…
as a teacher…
as a carer…
as a human being…
If you’re not feeling that delight, then ask him to bring about that change.
Ask him to help you see yourself as He sees you.
POINT TO PONDER
How much of the Holy Spirit are you allowing in to change things?
PRAYER
Abba Father,
It is your Holy Spirit that works in me to change things for You. I praise you for the power that You have given and released inside me. Thank you that in You, there is nothing missing, there is completeness, and an ever present capacity to help me and situations change. Help me to attune to all that you have placed in me to live for your good pleasure. Holy Spirit, I welcome you to bring your healing to my life and my family’s so we can live in your fullness.
In Jesus name, Amen!
