Devotional: I have drawn you

“I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you” Jeremiah 31:3
Message:
How beautiful to be drawn by love.
He announces his tender love and keeps His promises made to Israel’s forefather Abraham and His seed.
God is Holy.
God is Just.
His very nature is Love.
Despite the Israelites and our waywardness and foolish choices sometimes, he still loves.
While we were still in our sin, Christ died for us.
Not because of who we are but because of who He is.
May our lives overflow with that love and draw others to Him through us.
Point to Ponder:
How much are we overflowing with God’s love to draw others to Him?
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
God of wisdom, justice, holiness, and love. I am not worthy to gather up the crumbs under your table and yet in mercy and grace you picked me to be your child. You picked me up out of the miry clay and dressed me in robes of righteousness. I praise you today for your unconditional love that you pour out on me. Thank you that you drew me to You and made me Your child. Help me to love others from the overflow of that love until they receive that love for themselves.
Thank you Jesus, amen!
